I’ve been designing brands for photographers since I was 18, but I’ve been creative my whole life— as I suspect you may have been, too. I started college in 2016, in pursuit of a BFA in Graphic Design, but that always felt secondary to what I actually wanted: this business. Once I’d had a taste of being paid and valued for my creativity, I stopped at nothing to chase that feeling. I designed wedding signage & invitations, was asked about branding soon after, and even picked up my camera again at one point. I started my business at such a young age that imposter syndrome plagued me for years. All I wanted to do was fit in, feel legitimate, and look like everyone around me. This meant hiding behind my work, using the same presets, color palettes, and design style as everyone else— trying so desperately to shove myself into the boho-moody-PNW-photographer-circa-2018 box. (Yes, you know the type. 😉)
Things shifted for me when I finally decided to do things my way, own who I was, and put exactly that out into the world. I was scared shitless, but looking back, here’s what I can tell you now: your personality is undoubtedly your greatest strength. There’s one thing that never goes out with the trends, and that’s who you are.
You’re so much more than your work— you’re your sense of humor, the experiences that have shaped you, little pieces of every person you’ve ever loved, your favorite books & TV shows you’ve consumed too many times, all of your dreams & passions— so why shouldn’t your brand be all of that, too? I believe that you have the power to have all the confidence in the world about this business that you love so much, and that the perfect people are waiting to hire you, but they just can’t quite find you while you’re hiding behind your galleries and the industry trends. It’s all MUCH closer than you think— it’s within you. So, let’s own it.
"Maggie did an amazing job interpreting what I wanted from my brand. Through the entire experience, she was thoughtful, encouraging and fun! My business has grown consistently month over month. I have a cohesive vision that I rally behind, and so much more confidence to go forward because my brand represents me."

"I had spent years building my business and with just one call with Maggie, everything I thought I knew was blown out the window. Her knowledge and experience working with photographers is unmatched. She made my brand rebuild fun and felt personalized to me and my business, rather than me being just another photographer she's worked with."
McKenzie Mahan
"I wanted my brand to reflect me and my personality, not just what was on trend this year. I wanted it to feel like me and be personal to who I am as a photographer. She was able to capture everything I didn't know I wanted, and she made it so easy and seamless. She's helpful even after the process is over."
Sammy Caldwell
"She took all of the ideas I had and created a website that really felt like *me* and represented my brand. I'm so excited to start magnetizing my dream clients with an online precence that represents who I am and what kind of work I want to do! Stunning visuals aside, I'm also SO EXCITED to finally have a website that has its back-end neat, organized, and ready for excellent SEO."
Sabrina Fitzgerald
"Maggie was so amazing to work with!! She went above and beyond to help me discover my perfect branding. She was so patient with all my ideas and incredibly knowledgeable. Maggie took care of every beautiful branding design that I needed for my photography business. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her and I am so glad I trusted her with my brand."

You’ll probably find Nick and I rollerskating, checking out a new National Park, or binging a sitcom on the couch. I was born and raised in the beautiful state of Oregon, but it turns out that falling for a wildland firefighter keeps things interesting— and pretty nomadic. We moved to the base of the Colorado Rockies this year, but there’s no telling where we’ll end up next.
More about our move & what it taught me about business:
I love everything disco so much that my first tattoo was of a disco ball.
I'm a rewatch girl, through and through— it's all sitcoms on repeat over here, all the time. that 70's show, new girl, parks and rec, and modern family are my faves.
I'm a huge swiftie (and have every album on vinyl), but I also have a soft spot for alternative from my mom. we've seen my favorite band, young the giant, 7 times.
despite my vinyl record collection, i actually log more podcast minutes than music minutes in my spotify wrapped, year after year.
in case you haven't noticed already, color is one of my favorite things. you'll never catch me with a neutral home, and i love colorful interior design & decor.
